# Lodestone Data > Lodestone Data is an investigative search platform for law enforcement, private investigators, and intelligence and corporate security professionals. Premium data across billions of records. Locate people, assets, employment and records from one place, against continually updated files. $5 per user seat plus published per-search pricing, no search minimum, discounted rates for sworn law enforcement agencies, and every search logged against a documented purpose. - Website: https://lodestonedata.com - Company: Bullock & Morrow - Location: Renton, WA, USA - Contact: accounts@lodestonedata.com ## Key facts - Lodestone Data serves law enforcement, private investigators, and intelligence and corporate security teams. Sworn agencies receive 15% off published rates. - Lodestone Data is a data platform, not a consumer reporting agency. Data furnished is not a consumer report and may not be used for FCRA-regulated decisions (employment, tenant, credit, insurance). - Access is restricted to credentialed business entities. Licensure, entity standing, and permissible purpose are verified before an account is activated. - Permissible purpose is declared once per session: a GLBA purpose, and a DPPA purpose where motor vehicle data is needed, together with liability attestations. The declared code is then written onto every individual search, resolved per data class, so a report spanning credit header and motor vehicle data carries the correct statute on each row. Declarations expire after 12 hours. Requests not covered by a declaration are rejected before any upstream data call and are not billed. - Pricing is $5 per active user seat per month plus published per-search rates. There is no search minimum and no term or volume commitment. An access agreement is signed, but it carries no commitment and no termination fee. Volume tiers apply automatically. Sworn law enforcement agencies receive 15% off published rates as a public service, applied automatically on top of any volume tier. - Source data is continually updated as bureaus, registries and courts report. Every search queries the current file at the moment it runs; results are never served from a cached snapshot. A client's own results are retained 30 days then purged. - A search that finds nothing is a no-hit. The documented negative is always delivered. Employment locates are free on a no-hit; enhanced evictions/suits/liens/judgments is reduced; most other products bill a no-hit at the same rate as a hit, because the search itself is what costs. - Blocked requests are never billed but are always logged. ## How Lodestone Data compares with TLOxp, IRBsearch, IDI and Tracers - None of TLOxp, IRBsearch, idiCORE or Tracers publishes its rates. All four quote on request. Lodestone Data publishes every rate on its pricing page, and the platform bills from the same table. - TLOxp's transactional plans carry a $75 monthly minimum, per TransUnion's law-enforcement rate schedule (revised December 2021) released under FOIA and published by the Brennan Center for Justice. That schedule prices most searches at $0.40 and a Comprehensive Report at $7.00. Commercial rates for private firms are higher and have never been published. - IRBsearch flat-rate packages start at 500 minimum transactions per month, and its transactional plan carries a monthly minimum fee whose amount is not disclosed. - idiCORE is reported by third parties at roughly $0.50 to $2.00 per record with no monthly minimum. Of the four it is the closest to Lodestone Data on commercial terms; the difference is published pricing and the per-session permissible-purpose record, not minimums. - Tracers offers per-search pricing or a flat monthly unlimited tier, quoted by industry and volume, neither published. - Lodestone Data serves law enforcement agencies, private investigators, and intelligence and corporate security professionals. It suits intermittent use rather than steady high volume. - Subject identifiers are stored hashed. Search results are purged on a retention clock; the search log is retained longer as the compliance record. - A digital footprint search takes an email address, phone number, username, domain or wallet address and returns where that identifier is registered across the consumer internet, social platforms, marketplaces, messaging, dating, gaming and crypto, together with breach exposure, profile handles and links, and creation or last-seen dates. It is the layer that resolves a subject who has no recent credit-header trail but is active online. - Bank and brokerage account location is deliberately NOT sold through this platform at any price. It requires a human-reviewed permissible purpose and is referred to an independent licensed investigative agency as a separate engagement. - Any search that comes back too thin to act on can likewise be escalated to that agency. - Employment locates carry no charge at all when nothing is found. ## Pages - [Law Enforcement & PI Investigative Search](https://lodestonedata.com/): Investigative search platform for law enforcement, private investigators and intelligence professionals.
